Solid stay, minor issue

We booked a short vacation rental at Maui Schooner Resort. The booking process was simple enough, and the price was fair for a Maui spot. The resort itself was clean and the staff were friendly. Our unit was comfortable and had a nice view. The only small thing was that the Wi-Fi in our specific unit was a little spotty at times, which was annoying when trying to stream. Otherwise, it was a pretty good experience, and we enjoyed our time there. I'd consider using them again.

Easy Hawaii trip

Needed a quick getaway to Hawaii so I checked Somerpointe. Found a good deal at Kahana Beach Resort. The booking was super easy on their site, no fuss. The place was nice and right on the beach, which was perfect. Had a really chill time there.

Amazing Las Vegas trip!

Just got back from Cancun Resort Las Vegas and it was fantastic! The pool area was so relaxing, and our room was spacious. We used a special offer for a 3-night stay, and it was such a great deal. Definitely planning another trip through Somerpointe soon!

Great value vacation package

I was looking for an affordable getaway and found a Las Vegas stay promotion through Somerpointe. I snagged a package for 3 nights for $99 at Club de Soleil, and it was totally worth it. I mean, for that price, you can't beat it. It allowed us to spend more on shows and dining, which was the whole point. Felt like a real steal. It was a good first experience with them for sure.

Good RCI exchange experience

I used my RCI points to book a week at Tahiti Village Resort and Spa. Booking was straightforward on their site. The confirmation email arrived quickly. Check-in at the resort was efficient, though the front desk line was a bit long. The unit was clean and well-maintained. The shuttle service to the Strip was a nice bonus. Overall, it was a smooth exchange process and a pleasant stay. I had a few questions about my points balance before booking, and customer service answered them within a day.

Hey, thinking about one of those Vegas deals, like 3 nights for $99. Is that legit or are there tons of hidden fees once you get there?

W Wendy Patel 2 months ago
Yeah, those usually come with a presentation you gotta sit through. They're pretty upfront about it though, usually in the fine print.

I did one last year. The price was what it said, but definitely factor in resort fees. They're separate and kinda suck, but that's pretty standard for Vegas hotels anyway.

How's their cancellation policy? I'm worried about plans changing and being stuck with a booking.

M Marcus 2 months ago
It really depends on the specific booking you make. Some of those super cheap promo deals are non-refundable. For regular bookings, there's usually a window, but check the terms before you pay.

Their policy varies a lot. I'd definitely read the fine print on whatever package you're looking at. For a standard owner booking, it's usually more flexible than a promotional one, but always double-check.

Is Somerpointe Resorts actually legit? It sounds almost too good to be true, especially some of those promo prices for Hawaii.

N Nina Patel 2 months ago
Yeah, they're legit. They own a bunch of resorts, especially in Vegas and Hawaii. It's a timeshare company, so those super cheap deals are usually for attending a sales pitch.

Totally legit. My family has owned a timeshare with them for years. It's a real company, just like Wyndham or Marriott. Just know what you're getting into with the timeshare aspect.

I'm an owner and want to refer a friend. Are there any discounts for that, like a referral code or something?

G Gwen R. 2 months ago
Yeah, they totally do owner referral programs! You usually get some kind of bonus or your friend gets a deal. You might need to contact owner services to set it up, though.

I think they have specific landing pages or forms for owner referrals. It's not usually a 'code' you just punch in, but more of a structured program. Check the owner services section of their site, or just give them a call.

My dad's a vet, trying to find if Somerpointe offers any military discounts. Couldn't find a specific spot on the site for it.

M Mia 1 month ago
I think they do, but it might be one of those things you have to call them directly for or find a specific landing page for. Don't expect a general code though.

My cousin got a military rate once, but it was for a specific package they were running, not a sitewide discount. You might have better luck looking for Vegas stay promotions first and then asking if they can apply a military discount on top.

Anyone know if you can bring pets to the properties, specifically the Club de Soleil in Vegas?

D Daisy 1 month ago
I don't think so, man. Most timeshare resorts aren't pet-friendly. It's usually in their FAQs that pets aren't allowed.

T Tara Reyes 1 month ago
I'm pretty sure their properties generally don't allow pets, unless it's a service animal. You'd definitely want to confirm directly with the resort if it's a make-or-break for your trip.

Thinking of booking a last minute trip to Tahiti Village. What's the deal with check-in times? Can I get in early?

J Josh L. 2 months ago
Standard check-in is usually 4 PM, like most resorts. You can always ask for an early check-in, but it's not guaranteed and depends on availability.

A Amber P. 2 months ago
I'd plan for 4 PM. If you get there earlier, they might be able to hold your bags, but don't count on the room being ready. It's pretty strict, especially for popular places like Tahiti Village.

Are there any current promo codes floating around for booking a stay? Trying to get a good deal on a Vegas trip for spring break.

D Daisy 2 months ago
Honestly, codes are super rare with them. They usually just have those special landing pages for deals, like the fixed-price packages. Keep an eye out for those seasonal specials.

B Ben 2 months ago
Don't bother looking for codes. Your best bet is to check their 'vacation packages' section. That's where all the actual deals are, usually tied to specific dates or resorts.
